HOW TO GROW LAMBS EAR

Direct sow in autumn or in the spring after last frost. May also start in cold frame 6–8 weeks before last frost and plant out. Grows as prostrate ground cover the first year and eventually grows a flowering column the second or third year. Easy to grow, requires little care. Does not like heat and humidity. Divide once established after 2–3 years. May self-seed around your garden. Surface sow, press into soil, do not cover. Soil pH 5.8–7.2. Hardiness zones 4–10. Perennial.
