HOW TO GROW ANGELICA OFFICIAL
Seeds have short life, best to direct sow in the fall or by winter solstice. If starting indoors, stratify for three months prior, start 4-6 weeks before last frost and plant out after frost. Seeds require light to germinate, press into soil, do not cover. Plant lives longer if flower heads are removed. Soil pH 6–9. Hardiness zones 4-7. Biennial.
Days from maturity calculated from the date of seeding. Average 9,450 seeds per ounce. There are no Federal germination standards for commercially sold herb seeds. Usual seed life 6 months. Refrigerating can extend life to 2 to 5 years.
