HOW TO GROW GROUND CHERRY


Start ground cherries indoors mid-March through early May. Harden plants off before planting in the ground. Plant in full sun after the danger of frost has passed. Harvest when the fruits are golden in color, the husks are partially dry, and the fruits come off the stem easily. Fruits that have fallen on the ground are ripe and good for eating too if unblemished! Soil pH 5.1-7.0.
