HOW TO GROW KOHLRABI
Start indoors 4-6 weeks before last frost, plant out 4 weeks before frost. For fall harvest, transplant 9 weeks before first frost, without additional protection. In a hoophouse, you can plant 2-3 weeks later. Sow directly as soon as soil can be worked. Direct sow 1’ apart thinning to 4”. Grows best in filtered sunlight. Eat raw or cooked. Mature plants can be drought tolerant. Plant successive sowing for continuos harvest. Soil pH 5.6-7.5. Hardiness zones 7. Biennial.
