HOW TO GROW BROCCOLI

Start indoors 4-6 weeks before last frost and plant out 2 weeks before frost; or direct seed 2 weeks before last frost. For fall harvest, transplant 8–12 weeks before first frost. In a hoophouse, you can plant 2-3 later. We seed in March under cover, first of May in the open. We seed from July 1 to August 15 for fall harvest in zone 8b.
