HOW TO GROW WORMWOOD, REDSTEM

Start indoors 6-8 weeks before last frost or cold frame. Transplant out after frost. Easily grown in well drained slightly alkaline loamy soil. Drought tolerant. Plants are more hardy and aromatic when grown in poor dry soil. Leaves and stems are harvested for medicine spring when 2-4” tall. Seeds require light to germinate, press into soil, do not cover. Soil pH 4.8-8.2. Hardiness zones 3-9. Biennial.
