HOW TO GROW LUPINE

Scarifying seeds, then soak overnight followed by 7 day cold stratification. Start indoors 6-8 weeks before last frost. Start in peat pots or seed blocks that can be planted directly without disturbing the roots. Loosen soil to 12-20 inches when transplanting, plants develop long taproots. Self sows, over time blue will dominate as patch cross pollinate. Untreated seeds can sown directly in the fall. Soil pH 6.1-7.5. Hardiness zones 3-9. Perennial.
