Attractive Italian variety. Dark and light green striping shows much more contrast than Costata Romanesco Zucchini. More flavorful than most zucchini, flavor is slightly nutty; milder than Costata. Evenly shaped, straight slightly ribbed fruit. Single-stemmed bush plants. Harvest when needed, peak flavor is at 7-8” long, if they get away from you grow to full size 24-36”, leave fruit on the plant until frost then remove and save seed in December. Control the abundant harvest by using flowers on salads and water sparingly. Also known as courgette. Tags: Color: Bi-Colored.
