These crops grow well at 60–70˚F but also can overwinter as leafy greens, in the ground or unheated tunnels. Most reliable are kale, miners lettuce, parsnips, spinach and tatsoi. Second most dependable are arugula, cilantro, cress, mizina and pac choy. More challenging for winter growing are carrots, chard, lettuce, radishes and turnips.
