American Figwort blossoms with small, purplish-brown flowers and is a lovely attractant for bees, butterflies, and other beneficial insects in the garden. Its primary uses medicinally are for skin conditions connected with the lymphatic system. It aids in altering the constitution and composition of blood and lymph fluids by restoring correct removal of cellular waste, as well as uptake of nutrition by cells. It’s also a mild diuretic that removes these wastes through the kidneys. Also known as Lanceleaf Figwort, Early Figwort and Hare Figwort. Tags: Certification: Organic.

Native to North America. Smoke helps germination. Seeds collected by Jon Carlson in the mountains of Southern Oregon.
